Worktops range from £20 per metre for laminate to £1,000+ per metre for marble. Keeping your existing layout is the single biggest saving: connecting a sink and appliances in their current positions costs £500 – £1,400. Moving the sink or hob, adding a new cooker circuit and lighting typically costs £1,500 – £3,500, and a full kitchen rewire with relocated plumbing runs £3,000 – £7,000.
